Even though I grew up only a couple hours away from Longwood Gardens, a world renown botanilcal property in Kennet Square, PA, I had never been there until I was 40 years old. For a couple of years, one of my best friends and I had been talking about going when Spring was at its peak in bloom. One evening while sitting at the local pub having dinner, he said to me "Want to go to Longwood next weekend?" So we did. And it was a good thing because a year later I moved from Baltimore to Michigan, where it is a much farther drive. Thanks to a new digital camera I was able to take hundreds of gorgeous images. Here are the best 124 of them. Enjoy! Viewing instructions: Click on an image for a larger view. Just let me know if you are interested in purchasing a print or an image to use electronically or in print. I'd be happy to talk with you. |
