	I am a therapist, teacher, photographer and published author. I am a lover of life and nature. My husband and I live off the grid on a remote 40 acre island, Shelter Island, just off of Drummond Island in the far eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. My friends will tell you that I think outside of the box and am ambitious, determined and very thorough. Others will tell you that I'm one of the most adventurous, brave and courageous people they know. What can I say? I've always been unconventional. My aunt once gave me a bracelet that said "Well behaved women rarely make history." I've been well behaved all my life, following the rules my parents made me live by. But I also am not afraid to be bold or gutsy and live life to its fullest. I enjoy hiking, photography, writing, doing yoga, reading, yoga, sailing, snorkeling, anything related to the water, living off the grid, and contra dancing.
