September 2009 I decided to do something that I had never done before - go on a real, do nothing, vacation. And I'd go for two weeks. I love anything related to water and I love to snorkel. I decided I would find a place that I could go enjoy the water and snorkel as much as possible. My plan was to write a book when I was not eating, sleeping or in the water. The last week of November and first week of December was spent at Turneffe Island Resort on their private island. The cabanas were beautiful and the food was amazing. Almost every day had two snorkel trips. Carlos, the guide, took me when no one else wanted to go. I took over 2000 photographs with a Canon underwater point-and-shoot camera that I borrowed from a friend. So the book never got written, yet, but I had an amazing time.
