Some people love winter and some hate it. Winter enthralls me. It is one of my favorite times of the year to do photography. Why? Because of the challenge. Along with brisk and invigorating temperatures, it is always a challenge to capture nature's ever changing beauty. What is available to photograph at one moment, may not be there an hour or day later. One moment there is a treasure to delight in, a few hours later the dazzle is gone or it is been washed away. The landscape is continually transformed by the change in the sun's angle, the speed and direction of the wind or waves, or by rain, sleet and snow. The most enjoyable part of winter photography is sharing it with others. It's a thrill for me to hear them "ooh" and "aah" as they delight in the sublte colors, unique designs and sights they have never seen. Enjoy! Just let me know if you are interested in purchasing a print or an image to use electronically or in print. I'd be happy to talk with you. |
